Terrible Swift Swordfish

Long before Pearl Harbor, the Royal Navy showed what carrier-borne planes could do to capital ships that were “safely” in port. Using obsolete planes that their crews called “Stringbags,” (the same planes that made the fateful rudder hit on Bismarck) the Fleet Air Arm dealt a crushing blow to the Italian Navy in Taranto.

This excellent solitaire game puts you in charge of the Fairey Swordfish (we’re not making that up) attack force, to see if you can do better than your historical counterparts.

Complete with full-color integrated 11" x 34" map and rules set, 108 colorful, mounted die-cut counters, and the simple charts and rules you need to see if the Regia Marina continues to challenge for supremacy in the Med.
