Unlike today's push button world, there was a time (well actually for most of recorded history) when men fought hand to hand, completely aware of who they were killing and being slain by in return. A time when the sights and sounds and even the smell of battle could send men into a battlefield frenzy or send a visible shudder of fear through the ranks.
Welcome to the Classic Way of War, three fast-paced games that test the very nature of man.
Now, here is your chance to pick up great titles at a bargain price - indeed, back then they called it "plunder!"
Day of the Chariot: Kadesh
Kadesh must be the chariot battle of all time. Sources conflict and disagree, but there may have been as many as 5000 chariots in this twisted, confused, and bloody battle, fought to determine the borders between Egypt and the Hittite confederacy. Now you can take the reins and lead your lines/lions into battle. Day of the Chariot: Kadesh offers a classic design into a tactical view of one of the most-discussed battles of middle eastern history, and everything you need to play a system emphasizing command control and flexibility (or the lack thereof).

Boudicca: The Warrior Queen
Boudicca meant “trouble” for the Roman occupation of Britain. After her revolt succeeded in burning three major towns and slaughtering tens of thousands of Roman citizens and allies, the Emperor Nero seriously considered whether this distant land was worth the cost to stay. Governor G.S. Paulinus’ remarkable victory - perhaps at the location later known as “Watling Street” - reaffirmed Roman domination. They would remain in Britain for over 300 more years.
But it might have been different. Can you as the leader of a various cluster of independent Celtic tribes cause enough trouble and loss to make the Romans leave your island? Can you as the commander of scattered Roman troops snuff out the rebellion more effectively than Paulinus? Will London burn or be saved?

Go Tell the Spartans
Few battles in history seem as “against the odds” as the tale of “300 Spartans” against a Persian host that some say neared a million soldiers.
If the actual numbers of Persians are more like 200,000, and if there were something like 7000 Greek warriors originally manning “the Hot Gates” of Thermopylae, it still represents an epic moment of history that has captured the imagination for centuries.
